Non-technical founders and small product teams kept losing weeks bridging the gap between an idea and a clickable prototype. Off-the-shelf AI builders either locked them into proprietary runtimes, hit cold-start latency on serverless, or generated React code that broke as soon as state and routing got serious. The brief was a builder that produced real, ejectable React apps — not screenshots, not toy sandboxes — and ran globally at the edge with sub-second feedback loops.
Solution
We architected an AI generation pipeline on Cloudflare Workers with Durable Objects for per-session state, D1 + Drizzle ORM for persistence, and a streaming agent loop that plans, scaffolds, and patches a full React + Vite project from a natural-language brief. Each session lives at the edge, so prompt-to-preview latency stays under 2 seconds worldwide. The output is a standard Vite repository: components, routes, types — code a developer can take over without rewrites.
Résultat
Shipped open-source to the developer community with zero cold starts and edge-local persistence. Non-technical users generate functional applications in minutes; engineering teams use it as a paved-road scaffolder before handing off to humans. The architecture has since informed several of our internal AI-agent products and is referenced in our consulting engagements on agentic systems.
